Bérangère VAN HOUTE (°1978) graduated in Law at the Université catholique de Louvain (2001). She also holds an LL.M. degree in Business Law (in Dutch) from the Universiteit Gent (2002).
She mainly practises law of obligations, contract law, commercial law and banking law.
She gained some valuable experience in the field of consumer credit law. She notably published, with Dominique Blommaert, a paper on that topic titled: « Agrément et inscription, pouvoir de contrôle de l'administration, sanctions et recours » in the Handboek consumentenkrediet (Business & Economics collection, Bruges, die Keure, 2007).
