In construction law, the department essentially intervenes to defend the interests of contractors, architects, engineering firms, developers and builders. The department is also involved in projects for transformation or renovation of real estate.
Besides in matters of litigation, the department intervenes frequently at the advice or preliminary consultation stage or after conclusion of the contracts in matters of professional liability, as well as in the negotiation and drawing up of agreements and adjustment of specifications.
In matters of public works tenders, it also handles all questions related to their execution (delays, stoppage, compensation calculations and responsibilities).
Construction insurance is also handled by the department.
Supply and maintenance contracts of industrial installations are also part of its field of activities.
