Frédéric Fosseur specialises in tax law. He advises clients and represents them before the courts in cases connected with direct tax issues (income tax, corporation tax, tax on non-residents) and indirect tax (V.A.T., registration fees and inheritance tax). He has also gained experience in the non-profit sector. Frédéric Fosseur holds degrees in Law and in Public and International Affairs (Université Catholique de Louvain - U.C.L.). He also attended lectures in tax law at the Ecole supérieure des sciences fiscales (Brussels). He regularly lectures on topical tax law matters.

  • Associate in the Tax Department of the law firm Stibbe Simont Monahan Duhot (now Stibbe), from 1997 until 2001
  • Joined the law firm Janson in 2001

  • Worked free-lance in import-export (notably specialised in VAT and customs), from 1993 until 1996
  • Worked in the Centre européen de fiscalité (CEFI - Université catholique de Louvain), from 1995 until 1997

Teaching activities
  • Speaker at various conferences and seminars (notably those organised by the Compagnie Royale des Experts-Comptables et Comptables de Belgique - C.R.E.C.C.B. - Royal association of certified accountant and bookkeeper of Belgium - the Centre européen de fiscalité (CEFI), secrétariats sociaux, the Délégation des Barreaux de France, etc.
