Candice Lecharlier
Candice is an associate in the EU & Competition team. She advises and represents clients in complex EU, competition, and sanctions cases before both national and European authorities and courts.
Candice assists clients at the intersection of EU law, competition law, regulatory, and EU restrictive measures.
She has developed a strong expertise in EU restrictive measures law, particularly in asset-freeze derogations, delisting procedures, and litigation before the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Belgian Council of State.
She also advises on competition and regulatory matters in various industries, including telecom, defence, and private security; as well as procedures before the European Commission, the Belgian Competition Authority and BIPT.
Candice speaks French and English.

Assisting clients on complaints alleging unlawful State aid
Advising clients on the abuse of economic dependence and representation before the Belgian Competition Authority
Advising insurance companies on compliance with EU competition rules
Advising clients in the context of disputes related to football players’ transfers and training fees
