(NL) Paralegal
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our team at our Brussels office.
As a paralegal, you play a crucial role in providing legal, administrative, and organizational support to the Banking, Corporate, and Commercial Litigation Department. You will work closely with our lawyers to ensure the efficient follow-up of cases.
Your main responsibilities as a legal and administrative team member include:
Drafting, reviewing, and preparing legal documents (contracts, reports, correspondence, etc.).
Conducting legal research, analyzing various topics, and performing preparatory work to assist in providing legal advice.
Compiling case files (assembling evidence, consulting case law, etc.).
Managing and following up on case administration (excluding invoicing).
Handling correspondence and filing, as well as preparing documents for archiving.
Providing ad hoc administrative support to lawyers.
Managing the team’s agenda.
Your profile as a paralegal:
You hold a bachelor’s degree in Legal Practice or a similar qualification that enables you to carry out the above tasks.
Previous experience as a paralegal or in a legal environment is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are more important to us.
You have excellent proficiency in office software (MS Office, legal software).
You are capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
You work with discretion and precision.
You are client-oriented and have strong communication skills.
You are a team player and can work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
