Dorothée Danthine
Dorothée is a partner in the tax department of Janson. She assists clients in most areas of tax law (direct and indirect taxes).
Dorothée has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2000. She joined Janson as a partner on July 1, 2025.
Dorothée specializes in tax law, which she practices in close connection with corporate and civil law. She advises clients (primarily SMEs, family groups, individuals, …) on a wide range of tax matters, including corporate and personal income tax, registration duties, inheritance tax and international taxation. Her practice covers both advisory and litigation matters.
With 25 years of experience, she has developed in-depth expertise in a broad range of tax-related topics which enables her to deal with complex and technical matters. She is much appreciated for her strong analytical skills.
Dorothée is a member of the Tax Law Commission of the Brussels Bar.
She works in French and English and has a good knowledge of Dutch.

Representing taxpayers — both individuals and legal entities — in litigations against the tax administration in a broad range of matters (corporate tax, Cayman tax, procedural breaches, tax regime of copyright, real estate income, etc.)
Assisting clients in securing transfer of companies under favorable tax regimes
Assisting in family wealth planning (structuring inheritance and gifts, setting up corporate structures, etc.)
Advising in application of Cayman tax
Advising in reorganizations of companies or shareholdings
Assisting companies and individuals in tax rulings requests (emigration of companies, share contributions to holding companies, etc.)
Drafting of shareholders’ agreements
Assisting individuals and legal entities on the sale or acquisition of companies (tax aspects, negotiation, drafting of share purchase agreements, etc.)
