Margaux is an associate at Janson, specialising in distribution law, commercial contracts and litigation. She advises and represents Belgian and international clients throughout the entire lifecycle of their commercial relationships, from the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements to their implementation and termination.

Margaux combines a solution-oriented and pragmatic approach with thorough legal analysis. Attentive and responsive to her clients’ needs and the specific challenges they face, she strives to work efficiently and provide clear, practical advice, always keeping their business objectives at the heart of her approach. She places particular importance on understanding the broader commercial context of each matter in order to identify solutions that are both legally sound and adapted to her clients’ needs.
Alongside her legal practice, Margaux spent five years as a teaching and research assistant at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). This academic experience has strengthened the analytical rigour, precision and depth she brings to her work, particularly when dealing with complex or novel legal issues.

Advising Belgian and international companies throughout the lifecycle of their commercial relationships, including the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements and general terms and conditions, as well as contractual advice and litigation
Representing Belgian and international companies in complex commercial disputes before Belgian courts, including cross-border and multi-party proceedings
Regularly advising one of Belgium’s leading banks on a broad range of contractual and commercial matters, including the drafting of agreements and the implementation of a new agency model
