Margaux combines a solution-oriented and pragmatic approach with thorough legal analysis. Attentive and responsive to her clients’ needs and the specific challenges they face, she strives to work efficiently and provide clear, practical advice, always keeping their business objectives at the heart of her approach. She places particular importance on understanding the broader commercial context of each matter in order to identify solutions that are both legally sound and adapted to her clients’ needs.

Alongside her legal practice, Margaux spent five years as a teaching and research assistant at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). This academic experience has strengthened the analytical rigour, precision and depth she brings to her work, particularly when dealing with complex or novel legal issues.

Margaux works in French and in English.

• Advising major international groups in the watchmaking, jewelry and automotive sectors on the structuring and development of their distribution networks, including the drafting and implementation of new contractual frameworks

• Advising dealers and commercial agents on the termination of their contractual relationships, including the negotiation of exit arrangements and related disputes

• Advising Belgian and international companies throughout the lifecycle of their commercial relationships, including the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements and general terms and conditions, as well as contractual advice and litigation

• Representing Belgian and international companies in complex commercial disputes before Belgian courts, including cross-border and multi-party proceedings

• Regularly advising one of Belgium’s leading banks on a broad range of contractual and commercial matters, including the drafting of agreements and the implementation of a new agency model
