Peter Parez

Peter coheads Janson’s corporate and M&A practice. Peter is much appreciated and recognized for his client-oriented pragmatic approach and smart negotiation skills.

 
 

Peter has 20 years’ experience, acting as lead negotiator and/or main contact for clients in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity and venture capital transactions, and corporate matters.

He advises and represents multinationals, financial institutions and private equity funds, as well as entrepreneurs and national/local companies.

He works in Dutch, English and French.

    • Assisted a number of corporations in the acquisition of competitors in the renewable energy sector

    • Assisted a number of financial institutions (banks, stock broking firms, insurance companies) in the sale of their shares and/or main assets

    • Assisted a Belgian private equity fund in a number of acquisitions in the transport and IT sector

    • Assisted Belgian and foreign companies and investment funds in a number of acquisitions and corporate finance transactions in the IT sector

    • Assisted a number of fintech companies in the sale of their shares, as well as venture capital funds and entrepreneurs in the investment in, and/or acquisition of, these companies

    • Assisted a Dutch global group in a number of acquisitions in the Belgian animal feed sector

    • Assisted in the sale or purchase of real estate companies and/or real properties (mostly share deals)

    • Assists a number of financial institutions, life sciences / pharmaceutical and retail multinational and national companies on a day to day basis in corporate (finance) matters
