Prescillia Algrain
Prescillia is counsel in Janson's Banking & Finance department. She is an expert in regulated credit law.
Prescillia has 10 years of experience and is specialized in regulated credit law (consumer credit, mortgage credit and SME financing).
She has extensive experience in consumer credit litigation, in which she has represented various national financial institutions. She regularly drafts B2C and B2B credit agreements for various national and international financial institutions active in Belgium. She is also actively involved in the field of credit compliance, both in advising and assisting financial institutions in the context of investigations initiated by the supervisory authorities (FPS Economy, FSMA).
Prescillia has participated as a speaker at several specialized conferences on the subject.
She also has a practice in the field of payment services (advice, procedure).
She works in French, Dutch and English.

Assisting companies in their applications for registration as a financial leasing company in Belgium
Drafting various types of consumer credit agreements (including hire-purchase), mortgage credit agreement with movable and immovable purpose and assisting in the prior approval procedure with the FPS Economy
Assisting a client in the negotiation and drafting of a mortgage assignment agreement and in obtaining the appropriate license with the FSMA
Assisting clients in setting up payment instruments in Belgium
