Sylvie Leyder

Sylvie is counsel in Janson’s tax department. She is an expert in wealth tax planning in a Belgian and international context.

 
 

Sylvie specializes in tax law, which she practices in conjunction with corporate and civil law. She has over 35 years of experience which enables her to deal with complex technical files.

She advises on wealth management issues, such as asset transfers, family business transfers, and setting up corporate structures and foundations.

She assists clients in their dealings with the tax authorities (tax audits, litigation procedures).

She also advises companies and their directors on their day-to-day operations, agreements and liquidations including the tax issues.

She has developed expertise in the Belgian-Luxembourg areas as she was member of the Luxembourg Bar (list IV) for 10 years (2012 – 2022).

She participated as a speaker at several tax conferences.

She works in French, Dutch and English.

    • Representing taxpayers — both individuals and legal entities — during tax audits, including audits conducted by the Special Tax Inspection 

    • Advising companies and individuals in tax rulings 

    • Advising individuals and legal entities on the sale of shares in companies.
