Théo De Roose

Théo is an associate in the Energy, Climate Change & Mobility department, where he also practices environmental and energy-related urban planning law.

 
 

Théo is an associate with a strong academic background in public law, with a particular focus on energy, environmental and urban planning law. Since his admission to the Brussels Bar in 2025, he assists clients in understanding legal and regulatory frameworks, notably in the context of renewable energy and circular economy projects.

He has developed specific expertise in wind energy development projects and advised developers on compliance issues with the Regional Framework as well as on strategic litigation before the Council of State. He also contributed to the redaction of a book on the topic of wind energy development projects in Wallonia. His academic specialization strengthens his ability to provide nuanced legal analysis.

He works in French and English.

    • Legal assistance to developers regarding wind energy projects, notably in litigation before the Council of State or in ensuring compliance with the applicable reference framework ;

    • Drafting of client memos on various topics such as energy (energy law, environmental law, urban planning law, civil law, economic law, etc.) and circular economy (general and sectoral (waste) environmental law, urban planning law, contract law, etc.).
