Delisting of Redbird Corporate Services Ltd

On 22 September 2026, Redbird Corporate Services Ltd obtained its delisting after a long but successful dialogue with the Council of the European Union.

Redbird, incorporated in Mauritius, was sanctioned in July 2025, like a few other third-country companies, in the first wave of extraterritorial application of EU restrictive measures by the Council. 

Redbird appealed that decision before the EU General Court and rebutted the accusations of wrongdoing throughout the informal revision process available with the Council. The company presented evidence challenging systematically the grounds for its listing, demonstrating its continuous commitment to complying with the EU restrictive measures, and, if at all needed, a change of conduct alienating the grounds for the EU restrictive measures.

On 22 September 2026, in a rare but remarkable move, the Council removed Redbird from the EU restrictive measures lists while the court proceeding is still pending (See Decision (CFSP) 2026/2161 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/2160).
