Since her admission to the bar in 2015, Othilly has been working in the field of complex commercial litigation, representing clients from a broad range of sectors in various matters, including contractual and extra-contractual liability, with a particular focus on preventing and resolving disputes.

Othilly has also extensive experience in drafting commercial contracts, where here dispute-resolution experience and background as a litigator prove particularly valuable. 

Clients appreciate her thorough knowledge of each case and strong analytical skills, her punctuality and responsiveness, and her attentive ability to listen to the client’s needs.

From 2019 to 2021, Othilly served also as a teaching assistant in Procedural Law at KU Leuven.

 Othilly works in Dutch and English.

• Representing the former CEO of a bankrupt listed company in his defense against the FSMA, the public prosecutor and other stakeholders

• Assisting two of the four main Belgian credit institutions in several litigations concerning funding loss in the context of credit agreements.

• Representing companies, shareholders and directors in both internal disputes (between shareholders and/or directors) as well as external disputes (with business partners) before the Belgian courts.

• Drafting and negotiating numerous franchise and related agreements for an international food-sector brand.

• Drafting of numerous service agreements, management agreements, shareholders’s agreements, settlement agreemens, etc.

• Drafting of general terms and conditions for a number of commercial companies.
